Bingo committee presents check to Honor Guard Members of the Bingo Committee from V.F.W. Post #10385, Thatcher, presented a $500 check to the Gila Valley Honor guard. Presenting the check to the guard's secretary/treasurer Emilio Membrila is Senior Vice Commander Warner Stolp, and Post Quartermaster John Mugridge. The money is allotted from the Bingo Fund. Contributions received from other souces as well help the Honor Guard purchase necessary equipment. The Honor Guard is composed of volunteers from the American Legion Post #95 of Solomon and its Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post #32 of Safford and its Ladies Auxiliary, and Sons of Legionnaires and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10385 of Thatcher and its Ladies Auxiliary. |
